Postal cert

CERT Pocztowy is a team of specialists responsible for the protection of Poczta Polska, as well as the protection of postal services and clients against online attacks and threats. The team operates in the structures of the Polish Poczta Computer Science Department, and its main tasks include monitoring cyber threads and reacting to cyber security incidents.

What should be reported to a postal certificate?

  • Events related to IT infrastructure of Poczta Polska: IT attacks from the address of IP belonging to the entities of the Poczta Polska Group
  • Internet scams and frauds using the image of Poczta Polska, e.g. false pages of postal services or SMS messages about the need for an additional payment for postal shipment
  • E-mail messages impersonating the Polish Post Office or other entities of the Poczta Polska Group
  • Inaccessibility of websites and websites of post office and other entities from the Poczta Polska Group
