A wave of civilian war refugees from Ukraine is growing. These people, escaping from the conflagration, usually did not have time to take their belongings. In war -covered Ukraine, their families and friends have remained with whom they often have no contact. Operators of mobile networks in Poland came out opposite these needs, offering free starters for mobile phones with a limit of free minutes. Poczta Polska introduced these starters to its facilities to provide refugees access to these services.
Starters are issued on the basis of passports or residence cards. Mail employees will also register new numbers for data from these documents, which will significantly facilitate and improve the entire process. Posters informing about the campaign in both Polish and Ukrainian have already hung in postal facilities - he adds.
Plus, he made available over 10,000 starters with a package of free telephone connections and the Internet. They can be picked up at post offices in the Podkarpackie, Lublin, Lesser Poland, Świętokrzyskie and Mazowieckie provinces, including in all offices and branches in Warsaw.
