Ambassador of Polish culture on the jubilee stamp. Poczta Polska celebrates 75 years of the band "Mazowsze"

In the solemn atmosphere of the 75th anniversary of the existence of the "Mazowsze" People's Song and Dance Ensemble, Poczta Polska introduced a stamp dedicated to native cultural heritage, which members of the team cultivate and promote since 1948. Over the years, they have also gained recognition on the international stage as one of the world's largest artistic groups.

In a sheet of five stamps, the author of the project, Roch Stefaniak, presented one of the dancers of the band "Mazowsze" presenting in a picturesque folk outfit. The sheet is complemented by a tag with the logotype of the 75th anniversary of the band's existence.

Along with the issue, the company also broadcast the envelope of the first day of the FDC circulation, on which the colorful graphics of the "Mazovia" dancing on the stage were placed, accompanied by the band's symphony orchestra. The whole philatelic publishing house is complemented by a date stamp showing a pair of dancers.

Heritage of the band "Mazowsze"

"Mazowsze" has been promoting Polish folklore appearing in the form of a musical spectacle containing elements of music and dance for 75 years. This is an undeniable element of Polish cultural heritage. He not only performs the function of an artistic team, but also an important promoter of the wealth of Polish folk tradition. In its performances, he shows the richness of regional traditions passed down by colorful costumes, sounds of folk instruments and energy dances.

The activity of "Mazovia" is an expression of patriotism. He emphasizes the beauty of Polish culture, while building a bond between modern society and tradition and inspiring to cultivate your own roots and shaping a sense of national pride.

This is not the first initiative promoting the activities of the band "Mazowsze"

In June this year Poczta Polska began the solemn celebration of the creation of the "Mazowsze" band by releasing the first occasional card "75 Mazovia Ambassador of Polish Culture". The graphics that appeared in the design of the value presented a few dancers of the band "Mazowsze".

In 2022, the company introduced a "family picnic with the Mazowsze team", which had the pleasure to present at a philatelic stand during a picnic taking place in the historic Karolin Park in Otrębusy.

It is worth mentioning that in 2017, the Publishing House "Mazowsze Songbook of Christmas Carols and Pastorałek", sold only in the network of Poczta Polska outlets, reached the status of a gold album. Obtaining a distinction means that in total Polish Post has sold at least 15,000. CD copies via your own sales network.
