CERT Poczta Polska warns - another phishing campaign

The wide range of activities of Poczta Polska provokes fraudsters to conduct campaigns to extort customer data. Only recently there has been a loud about offers on social networks for the purchase of pallets with undeveloped parcels or SMSs about the need for a shipment.

The new campaign is somewhat similar to it. The attacked person receives an SMS with information about the inability to deliver due to the incorrect address. To allegedly receive a parcel, just click on the link to the form, complete it and make a small fee for changing your address.

Of course, the pages to which the links relate to are properly crafted, and the completion of the form and making the payment causes the theft of all the contents of the bank account. Therefore, we remind you to be careful on the web:

  • Do not open suspicious links, especially from strangers.
  • Watch out for all kinds of "occasions" on the web.
  • Verify the authenticity of the received request or information.
  • If you have become a victim of the attack - report the case to your bank and law enforcement agencies as soon as possible. Matters related to the Polish Post (e.g. using the mail logo) should also be reported to CERT Poczta Polska, which works around the clock, writing a message to incident@poczta-polska.pl .
