CERT Poczta Polska warns - another phishing campaign

CERT Poczta Polska informs about a phishing action sent in the form of a SMS message, in which cybercriminals impersonate the Polish Post Office.

Messages are currently sent from British numbers (+44) and registered in Thailand (+66) and contain information about the inability to send a parcel by urging to click on a suspicious link.

Poczta Polska calls for customers to pay attention to news about a similar topic and content containing a suspicious link or attachment. Do not click on the link and not open attachments from suspicious email messages.

We remind you that the correct address of the Poczta Polska website is https://www.poczta-polska.pl and the parcel tracking address is: https://emonitoring.poczta-polska.pl/ .

Simple rules for caution on the web:

  • Do not open suspicious links, especially from strangers
  • Watch out for all kinds of "occasions" on the web
  • Verify the authenticity of the received request or information
  • If you have become a victim of the attack - report the case to your bank and law enforcement agencies as soon as possible. Matters related to the Polish Post (e.g. using the mail logo) should also be reported to CERT Poczta Polska, which works around the clock, writing a message to incident@poczta-polska.pl .
