The "Postal Dar" Foundation helps local sports clubs
The virtual run of Poczta Polska is just a nice memory, which probably recalls many of its participants. For some, however, he has measurable effects. These are sports clubs that have received help from funds collected during the event for the Foundation "Pocztowy Dar". We remind you that in total it was PLN 13,974.
The Lesznowola Sports Club -a football club that started operating in 2004. Currently, the club brings together a group of nearly 30 people in its ranks. The purpose of his action is to popularize football among children, adolescents and adults, sports development, as well as organization of free time for the residents of the commune.
Despite the difficult situation related to the Pandemic of Coronavirus, the club tries to function normally - organizes trainings and participates in league matches. Currently, the Lesznowola Sports Club performs at the level of the VII Polish League, i.e. in Radomska Campeon.pl Class A, Group II, to which he was promoted last season 2019/2020. After the autumn round of the 2020/2021 season, he is 11th in the league table.
The club's activity requires funds necessary to constantly incur costs (including paying the club's participation in the competition, and paying a club coach). The club remains from membership fees, help from local sponsors and municipal subsidies.
Recently, the Lesznowola Sports Club has lost training equipment in a magazine fire, located at the "Mazowsze" Sports Center in the Grójec Sports Center. Thanks to the help of sponsors and donors, he could provide participants to return to normal training.
- On behalf of the club's board, players and all people associated with the Lesznowola Sports Club, we would like to thank you to the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation, which supported our activities. We allocated funds that we received from the Foundation for the purchase of equipment-training and match balls and bollards, necessary for coordination and movement training -says Sławomir Siwiec, club vice president.
GKS Mazowsze
The club was established in 1945, he joined the competition in the spring of 1946. This year it was to celebrate the 75th anniversary, but the epidemic situation destroyed these plans.
Currently, the association has a football section, in which there are 8 children's and youth teams, all of which appear in the system of games organized by the Polish Football Association. The club also has a senior team, which is present at the level of the 4th Mazovian league. In total, about 150 competitors registered in GKS.
The club also organizes open non -sport classes. During the holidays, he conducted, for example, a project called "STOP SMARTFONIZATION", which aimed to break children from telephones, tablets and other electronic devices to spend time actively outdoors.
An unfortunate accident also took place in GKS Mazowsze. At night, from 3-4 September this year, in the magazine fire, almost entirely sports equipment burned down, both sportswear (match shirts, tracksuits, jackets) and training equipment elements (balls, bollards, poles, ladders). The club was deprived of the opportunity to train and play matches.
- The help of the Foundation, which we allocated to the purchase of sports equipment for youth groups, is priceless for our association. On behalf of the board, players and trainers, we thank her for her - says Jarosław Kostrzewa, president of the board.
The dance school Dance Crew - the school was founded in 2013, as the fulfillment of the dreams of coach Małgorzata Kosicka, who systematically infected more and more children with love for dance. The children developed their talents and skills in the style of disco dance and disco show and represented their city at many professions, winning top places. In 2018, they represented Poland at international competitions in the Czech Republic and won 13 gold medals there. In 2020, Małgorzata Kosicka founded the "Dance Marzenie" Foundation, which includes, among others Dance School. From her own resources, she funded a dance scholarship for one of the school dancers.
Today, about 60 kids and adolescents from 4 to 20 years old attend school. Dance Crew is their second home. They spend every free moment here, take part in many playing and actions organized free of charge by owners. Dance nights are the biggest attraction for them.
During the pandemic he copes as he can. The first wave of Pandemia, during which she had to suspend her activities, was very difficult for her. The second wave is not easier - parents, afraid of children's health, suspend their participation in classes or transfer to online training. The most difficult, however, was the event that took place on September 28 this year. The school was flooded with hundreds of liters of water. The building was devastated, the rooms were flowing, nothing could be saved. The losses are so high that you need to start again. The school leaders are convinced that for children who have dance in their hearts and fight their weaknesses during each workout, it is worth doing.
- The support we received from the Poczti Dar Foundation allowed us to start renovation. We bought a dance floor for money for money from the Foundation. We also purchased sound equipment. The kids can't wait for them to show their pirouettes on the new floor and make twine. Our dance family, with all my heart, thanks. You give us hope to return to action, to a piece of normality in these terribly difficult times. Dance for our kids is a stepping stone from problems, fulfillment of dreams and a constant struggle for a better tomorrow - says Małgorzata Kosicka, president of the "Dance dream" Foundation.
Once again, we thank all participants of the virtual run, not only for sporting emotions, but also for big hearts!
