The Foundation "Pocztowy Dar" supports medics
During the Coronavirus epidemic, the Polish Post Office through the "Postal Dar" Foundation helps not only sick employees of Poczta Polska and Postal Companies as well as their families, but also medics in need of support in the form of protective measures and equipment saving life and health.
The foundation's help in the form of donations will go to the following hospitals:
- Voivodship Multi -specialist Center of Oncology and Traumatology M. Kopernik in Łódź,
- Poviat Hospital in Ryki Sp. z o. o.,
- Independent Public Health Care Team - Poviat Hospital Polish Red Cross in Nisko,
- Provincial Specialist Hospital Blessed Virgin Mary in Częstochowa,
- Zagłębie Oncology Center Specialist Hospital Sz. Starkiewicza in Dąbrowa Górnicza,
- Foundation of the WUM Pediatric Hospital at the Children's Clinical Hospital Józef Polikarp Brudzinski in Warsaw.
Not all of the hospitals deals with the Covid-19 patients, but all, taking care of the health and lives of their patients and colleagues, need extra money for the purchase of coronavirus protecting funds (masks, clothing, gloves, disinfecting fluids), which they seek themselves, reporting, among others to various foundations.
Funds to help the foundation for hospitals come from payments from companies from the Poczta Polska Group and individual donors. There are really many of them now. Many people have supported the foundation more than once, often significant amounts. We would like to thank them all.
People who would like to join the group of the Donors of the Foundation can do this by paying money to the Foundation's account (BP SA Branch in Warsaw 47 1320 1104 3014 4239 2000 0001 ) with the note "Donation for the statutory purposes of the Pocztowy Dar Foundation".
