The increase in the participation of Poczta Polska in the KEP market (courier, express, parcel) is one of the key strategic assumptions, chosen by the company for 2021–2023. In response to market needs, resulting from the constantly increasing e-commerce share in the domestic purchasing market, the post office plans to expand the network of collection points to 20,000 by the end of 2022.

By acquiring new business partners and expanding cooperation with existing ones, Poczta Polska has the largest network in the country over 16,000. acceptance points, the number of which is constantly increasing. 30% Increase dynamics of the number of pickup points y/y is the company's response to the expectations and requirements of customers to provide them with maximum convenience and flexibility when choosing a place of collection of shipments.

At the same time, we carry out intensive work on logistics solutions, including the new edition of the Pocztex service, which will allow us to deliver parcels even more efficiently to both partner points and a network of our own vending machines - says Andrzej Bodziony, vice president of the Board of Poczta Polska SA

The growing e-commerce market is conducive to the development of the reception point network. Poczta Polska operates flexibly, analyzes and examines customer preferences on an ongoing basis, responding to their needs. Competition activities are also a positive motivator for intensive network development. In the first half of this year, over 20% of parcels with online customer shopping purchases were received at pickup points. Postcards predict that next year the share of shipments received in points and packages will increase to 30%. It is worth adding that 35% of the entire collection of collection points is located in small cities with a number of less than 20 thousand. residents (approx. 17%) and in rural areas (approx. 18%).

Currently, in addition to attaching new partner points, the company is intensively working on the expansion of its own network, external parcel machines to collect and send shipments. By the end of 2022, the post office plans to provide customers with 2,000. such vending machines.
