1190-670From November 15 this year. Poczta Polska introduces changes to the offer of parcel services in national trade. The portfolio is simplified to the two main products: a universal package and much more friendly customers of the Pocztex courier service with the D+1 delivery standard (the next day after the date of broadcast) and D+0 (on the day of posting).

Today, a press conference entitled "Open yourself to Pocztex" with the participation of: Director of the Supervision Department at the Ministry of State Asset Wojciech Krysztuj, President of the Poczta Board Tomasz Zdzikot and Vice President of the Board of Poczta Polska Andrzej Bodzion.

- The development of Poczta Polska on such a competitive market as courier services is extremely important. The Ministry of State Asset supports the Company's efforts to modernize logistics infrastructure by recapitalizing the post with PLN 190 million. It is also pleased that the post office, caring for its clients, has to present a new offer with many amenities that are necessary on the dynamically developing e-commerce market- emphasizes Andrzej Śliwka, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of State Asset.

Open yourself to Pocztex

The introduced changes relate to the portfolio provided by the Polish Post Office of Package Services in national trade. The whole offer will be simplified and ultimately consist of only two products: the universal package and Pocztex courier. Current Pack+, Express 24, Courier 48, City Courier, National Courier, Direct Courier are converted into Pocztex services provided in the D+1 standard (next day after granting).

- The new offer of courier services is significantly simplified, adapted to the market requirements of customers. We modify the product portfolio and at the same time increase service standards, implement dedicated functionalities. We have just signed a contract for the supply of parcel machines to provide customers with a network covering 2,000 in 2022. such devices. In the perspective of the following few years, we plan to allocate approx. 300 million on the development of our own network of vending machines. We want to be even more competitive for both individual recipients and our business partners, providing them with the highest quality of services expected - said Tomasz Zdzikot, president of the board of Poczta Polska.

The new Pocztex is a multi -channel of supplies . We offer a selection of the most convenient form of receipt of the ordered shipment from among three possible variants:

  • Pocztex courier - courier delivery to the indicated address;
  • Pocztex point - delivery of shipments to the largest collection of collection points, which already includes over 17,000. locations throughout Poland and is constantly growing;
  • Pocztex automatic - delivery of shipments to parcel machines.

The service will be implemented on two websites: a courier (delivery to the address, to points and packages in the country at the expected date D+1, i.e. the next day after posting) and today (delivery in selected cities and relations within the date d+0, i.e. the same day).

- The new edition of Pocztex is our response to the intensive development of the ECOMmerce sector resulting from the fact of changes in customer preferences, increasingly choosing shopping online and expecting quick order processing. The changes in the service we introduce are comprehensive: from the introduction of a new offer, reconstruction of the entire logistics network, image rebranding, to the introduction of a new website www.pocztex.pl . Pocztex accelerates and becomes more modern and closer to customers - courier parcels will be delivered the next day after granting, and in selected cities even the same day - said Andrzej Bodziony, vice president of the board of Poczta Polska.

As part of the new Pocztex offer, 5 parcel formats are introduced (S, M, L, XL, 2xl). This change is extremely important because the fees for the service will depend on the package format, not, as before, on its mass.

www.pocztex.pl has also been comprehensive and reconstruction . Customers can use two dedicated sections: for retail customers and for business clients. Both sections have a personalized content system.

Starting from September this year. Poczta Polska gradually introduces changes in the very visual identification of the Pocztex brand, consisting in refreshing and modernizing the service logo, rebranding costumes and equipment for couriers. Changes are systematically communicated through advertising campaigns using online and traditional channels.

Pocztex automatic

One of the key components of changes in the area of ​​KEP Services of Poczta Polska is the construction of their own network of external packages, which will be positioned on the market under the Pocztex Automat brand. Poczta Polska has signed a contract for the supply of 2,000 parcel machines from the P2A Box Consortium sp. Z oo and PakPobox Ltd. The first several hundred packages of Poczta Polska will be made available to customers in the spring of 2022, and by the end of 2022 a total of 2,000 machines will be launched.

Pocztex automatic devices will be equipped with a touch screen and a payment terminal enabling payment by payment card or BLIK when sending shipments or receipt of delivery shipments. Facilities dedicated to clients with special needs, such as a special keyboard for blind and visually impaired people as well as voice service, are also foreseen. The base color palette of devices includes four colors: ecru, gray, red and green, which give great possibilities of flexible selection and adaptation of the color of the machine to a given location, its character and type of building in which the machine will be installed. The mail also provides for the possibility of adapting the color to specific, individual requirements of a given location, e.g. at historic buildings.

In parallel with the launch of machines, Poczta Polska plans to launch a mobile application, providing, among others Functionalities for sending Pocztex shipments, their tracking and receipt from parcel machines. The software manufacturer will be Poczta Polska Services Digital. The post office has already concluded a contract for the implementation of a comprehensive IT solution, including in addition to the mobile application for smartphones, access to a dedicated customer panel for people using computers.

Jeronimo Martins Polska SA - the owner of the Biedronka chain of shops is the strategic partner of the mail in the location of parcel machines. In the first half of 2022, Pocztex machines will be installed in at least 750 locations at Biedronka stores throughout the country.

Cooperation with Jeronimo Martins Polska SA has a strategic character from the perspective of the success of our project to build our own network of external parcels. Already in the first half of 2022, a few millions of customers, every day, shopping in Biedronka stores will be able to send and collect parcels from Pocztex parcels . Both companies, guided by the needs of their clients and the results of the pilot successfully carried out, decided to develop cooperation also in the field of receipt of KEP shipments in the Biedronka chain as part of the Pocztex Point delivery form.
