Permanent equipping of postcards with personal protection measures, measurement of the temperature of the employees of the sorting plant, postal facilities and offices, regular disinfection of the sorting rooms - these are just some of the actions taken by the Polish Post Office in order to ensure the safety of clients and employees.
The largest employer in the country has introduced a number of funds and procedures to limit the spread of the epidemic. Due to the company's size, employment level, the number of post offices and the sorting plant, the scale of the project and the costs incurred is considerable. All sorting plants of Poczta Polska are successively disinfected, although it is not required for this type of activity. Actions are preventive and oversized. For postalists, among others, over 600 thousand pieces of gels for disinfecting hands with a capacity of 30 ml and 100 ml and over 100,000 liters of liquids for disinfecting hand and surfaces in large packaging. Poczta Polska also bought over 5.4 million pairs of disposable gloves, over 700 thousand. Reusable masks with the possibility of washing and a half million disposable masks. All postmen and employees of the facility received hosts, over 62,000 were purchased. Deliveries are carried out on an ongoing basis so that employees can exchange used multiple use masks, it is also important to constantly supply liquids for disinfection.
