Poczta Polska invests over a million zlotys in printers and is preparing to provide the e-food service

Poczta Polska, as a designated operator, as part of preparation for e-mailing, signed a contract with Canon for the purchase of two high-performance, colorful, industrial printers for postal print and packaging centers in Łódź and Piła. The contract also covering two years of service for the equipment was signed in July this year. and amounts to PLN 1.1 million net. Thanks to new devices, the company will be able to more effectively testify to the so -called Public hybrid service.

We would like to remind you that on June 22, 2021, President Andrzej Duda signed an amendment to the Act on electronic delivery, according to which Poczta Polska from October 5 this year. will launch new public services, i.e.

  • Public service of registered electronic delivery (Purde) - the so -called The trust service consisting in sending messages between the sender and the recipient through the ICT system of a trusted third page, which system ensures the security of the parcel, its integrity (invariability from the beginning to the end of the service), the service is available for both public entities and non -public entities (citizens and entrepreneurs.
  • Public hybrid service (PUH) - a service involving the adoption of a parcel with correspondence in electronic form, its automatic printing and Zakopertication, and then its displacement and delivery in paper form to the addressee. The sender of PUH can only be a public entity.

New services provided as part of the e-argument will allow you to replace a traditional paper official letter by a letter sent in electronic form. The designated operator, whose role plays the Polish Post, is to ensure a rapid and safe exchange of correspondence between state administration units and citizens and entrepreneurs. The services provided as part of the e-mails will be generated by evidence of granting and receipt, as in the case of a traditional registered letter. The system implementation is to take place in stages. From October 5 this year. It will be possible to set up a box for electronic service. Government administration and institutions such as ZUS, KRUS and the NFZ will start using this form of communication from July 5, 2022. Local government units will join the e-mails a little later-according to the schedule resulting from the Act. Persons who do not decide on a fully electronic service for various reasons will provide a public hybrid service.

Poczta Polska ensures that the printout of digital shipments as part of the public hybrid service will take place in a safe way - automatically, just like placing them in envelopes before sending. Specialized devices at the company's disposal are located in the printing center, i.e. in a separate zone with limited access only for people with appropriate permissions. This means that the company's employees will not have an insight into official correspondence.

Pursuant to the Act on electronic delivery, services provided as part of e-mails for citizens are provided free of charge.

We guarantee the integrity and security of correspondence. This whole process will be confirmed by a qualified time marker. It is also worth emphasizing that we guarantee the security and secret of correspondence also in the case of a public hybrid service. Printing and packaging centers, whose technological infrastructure is constantly developed, constitute one of the most important links in the public service of the hybrid service. This network will be responsible for producing and placing on the postal trading parcels processed from electronic to paper form. Thanks to the purchase of new, high -performance industrial printers, the centers will gain the possibility of full -color printing at 2400 × 2400 DPI with a speed of 102 A4 per minute. The maximum monthly load for a single device is up to 1,800,000 pp. A4. The new Canon equipment will allow you to carry out faster and more effective tasks related to the printing and packaging of correspondence, and will also enable the company's offer on the print service market.

As part of the development of print and packaging services and reproducing the machine park in printing and packaging centers, Poczta Polska in 2019 invested in high -performance monochrome printers. The contract with Canon for the supply of equipment and service was then at the time of PLN 2.4 million net.
