Poczta Polska paid tribute to the insurgents

pp_1On Saturday, August 1 this year. In Warsaw, Tomasz Zdzikot, president of the board of Poczta Polska, paid tribute to the heroes of the Warsaw Uprising.

On August 1, ceremonies commemorating the 76th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising were organized all over Poland. The Polish Post, represented by President Tomasz Zdzikot, took part in the ceremony at Warsaw's Powiśle, which was attended by, among others: Jacek Sasin - Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of State Asset and Mariusz Błaszczak - Minister of National Defense.

The Warsaw Uprising enrolled in history as one of the most important events shaping Polish identity. It was the personification of key values, such as patriotism, freedom or determination in opposing enemies. Poczta Polska remembered, remembers and will remember the heroism of those days.

On August 6, Poczta Polska will commemorate the 76th anniversary of the scout's field mail.
