The postal operator also announced a competition for the best graphic designs for chess and championships, which will then publish in the Mojezzeczek service.

The Polish chess championship will be played from April 28 to May 8 this year. in Bydgoszcz, under the honorary patronage of Mateusz Morawiecki, the Prime Minister. During the sports struggles of the best chess players, not only the Polish champion and champion will be selected, but also the national team and Polish representatives for future international competitions.

Poczta Polska became the general partner of the championship. To commemorate the event, the company issues special philatelic values: a special card with a date applied on the opening day of the championship. The author of the datcher and co -author of the card is Waldemar Kawiński, who used the graphics of the championship in his project made by Michał Jakobsza.

Poczta Polska supports chess players and will take actions promoting this royal game. The company also gained the opportunity to organize a chess event in which postal workers will take part. The game in the form of a simultana with grandmaster will take place on May 11 at the company's headquarters.

We know that thanks to mutual cooperation we will gain the possibility of a much broader propagation of this unique strategic game, which the world's greatest leaders played with pleasure - says Radosław Jedynak, president of the Polish Chess Association.

The championships have also become the subject of an organized competition for a graphic design of a personalized post fee. It is to be dedicated not only to the championships, but also to the chess. The main winner of the competition will receive a surprise prize funded by the Polish Chess Association. The best three works will be used by Poczta Polska to print the sheets in the MySzczek service, as a reward and as honoring the winners of the competition. The authors of the winning graphics will also receive their stamps for free, as a thank you for participating in the competition. The list of winners will be announced on May 8, 2021.

Participation in the Mojenzeczek competition is the possibility of designing a postage stamp by each mail client. Wins work will be a full -fledged postmark sign, often also used as an occasional, unique gift.
