Poczta Polska signed an agreement with the Material Reserve Agency
Poczta Polska, which is one of the largest logistics companies in the country, develops cooperation with the Material Reserve Agency in the implementation of operational and logistics activities. On Monday (14.12 this year) an agreement was signed in this matter.
The last months of Pandemia have shown that in the fight against the SARS-COV-2 virus, the cooperation of state institutions and state-owned companies is crucial. Poczta Polska proved that its infrastructure and logistics facilities can be effectively used in crisis situations. The post office actively participated in the transport of medical devices and personal protective equipment, while postal sorting were used as storage facilities, which were sent to disinfectant and protective materials as well as medical devices. As part of the actions carried out, the key factor was to preserve all safety standards, timeliness and availability of transports, which is particularly important taking into account the nature of transported loads. In addition, Poczta Polska performed logistics services ensuring the transport of materials and equipment to field units of material reserves.
- The state of the epidemic requires all special mobilization. Despite the difficulties, Poczta Polska operates continuously and fills its mission. We successfully use our infrastructure and logistics experience providing services for institutions fighting the SARS-COV-2 virus. The agreement regarding the cooperation of the post office with the Material Reserve Agency provides that both institutions will undertake operational and logistic cooperation in order to increase the level of security in national and institutional dimensions as well as crisis management.
