Poczta Polska promotes network security
Poczta Polska became one of the partners of the Safe Internet Day celebrations organized by the Polish Center of Safer Internet (PCPSI), which consists of the National Research Institute NASK and the Foundation We give children strength. Poczta Polska as a national digital operator promotes network security.
The ceremonial celebrations will start with the online conference on February 8 at 17.00. The event will be available at DBI.pl, as well as on Facebook and YouTube channel of the Polish Safer Internet Center - participation does not require registration. However, from February 9 to March 3, the organizers invite you to a webinar cycle for parents and teachers, as well as online lessons and performances for children. (link).
As every year, schools, libraries and other institutions from all over Poland are actively involved in the celebration of DBI, as well as - most importantly - students who report and implement their own ideas on safe, active and creative use of the Internet. So far, over 3,000 initiatives have been reported, and their number is growing overnight. Applications can be sent by the end of March. The map of the initiatives is available https://www.saferinternet.pl/dbi/mapa-inicjyt-dbi.html
Initiatives submitted also take part in a competition in which the most interesting of them will be awarded. Among the awards include The Samsung Flip interactive monitor, funded by Samsung - for first place, as well as: TV, projector and laptop for three consecutive initiatives, funded by the Orange Foundation. In turn, 30 distinguished initiatives will be awarded with book packages by Łukasz Wojtasik: "Sieciaki. Safe internet mission ", as well as collector's book awards funded by Poczta Polska. The selected class, which will use interesting theater forms in its initiative, will receive tickets for the performance of "Almighty on the Web" at the invitation of the DBI partner - the Kamienica Theater.
In October last year, the Act on electronic service entered into force, which assumes that Poczta Polska will become an e-ordeal operator, which will be the digital equivalent of current registered letters. Electronic correspondence with offices will start replacing traditional from July this year.
The post office records many phishing actions that consist in impersonating criminals to the Poczta Polska brand to extort personal data and access to bank accounts. The National Digital Operator warns customers about entering unknown links received by email or in SMS. Information about suspicious emails and SMSs can be reported to incident@poczta-polska.pl
