Poczta Polska transports personal protective equipment for medical facilities
From the beginning of the epidemic, Poczta Polska takes intensive actions to support institutions that fight the spread of coronavirus. As many as 83 thousand Parcels with personal protection measures have already been sent to medical facilities throughout the country.
The Polish Post Office from the beginning of the SARS-COV-19 virus has been supported by the Ministry of Health in the implementation of the distribution of protection measures. The company carries out a number of tasks, including in the field of storage, packaging, pallet transport and parcel services.
The company performs deliveries to hospitals, including infectious hospitals, POZ, epidemiological stations, NFZ headquarters and pharmacies. Orders for pharmacies take place through the SOI portal launched by the Ministry of Health. Using the pharmacy portal, they have the option of ordering disinfecting fluids, gloves and protective masks.
Recently, 3 million protective gloves have been admitted to the Poczta Polska magazine, which will be used to prepare and process orders. Poczta Polska once again accepted the order of completion and shipping over 5,000 to complete. packages, directed to pharmacies throughout the country. The appropriate number of individual assortments needed to complete the entire order is secured in the Poczta Polska magazines. So far, as part of cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Poczta Polska has served over 83,000. parcels and nearly 1000 pine -plane shipments for various types of medical facilities.
As part of the full -time transport, Poczta Polska made nearly 300 such transports with a total length of routes over 65,000. km. Transports were carried out in the 24 -hour mode. Charges were received directly from airports in Wrocław and Warsaw, as well as from the sea port in Gdańsk and a container railway terminal. The transported personal protection measures were primarily sent to the magazines of the Material Reserve Agency, and from there to the locations designated by the Ministry of Health, including the warehouses of voivods of all voivodships.
