Poczta Polska performs urgent supplies of supplies for refugees from Ukraine
Poczta Polska, as the largest logistics company in the country in cooperation with the Government Strategic Reserve Agency, transports supply from RARS warehouses for refugees from Ukraine coming to Poland. Courses with the most necessary subjects have been implemented from February 24, i.e. from the first day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Starting from February 24 this year, Poczta Polska serves transports from the warehouses of the Governmental Strategic Reserve Agency, which goes to the distribution places on the Eastern Wall, including in Podkarpackie and Lublin region. Thanks to the efficient implementation of commissioned tasks, flowing in a wide stream of refugees from Ukraine receive the most necessary items on an ongoing basis. Looking for shelters in Poland, they receive transported by postalists, including blankets, beds, pillows, clothes and other necessities related to accommodation in new conditions. Postal courses from RARS warehouses to designated destinations are implemented on the basis of currently reported needs. From February 24, the company has already organized over 30 transports, and on Monday, the last day of the last month, several more were planned.

It should be emphasized that this is not the first contract with the government agency of strategic reserves implemented by the company. The Polish Post Office from the beginning of the SARS-COV-19 virus has been supported by the Ministry of Health in the implementation of the distribution of protection measures. The company carries out a number of tasks, including in the field of storage, packaging, pallet transport and parcel services. He performs deliveries to: hospitals (including temporary hospitals), warehouses of voivods, POZ, social welfare and blood donation houses, fire brigades, police or Polish army and pharmacies. Poczta Polska also provided disinfectants for schools and kindergartens.
