From March this year Poczta Polska expanded the catalog of customs services, enabling the service of coming from abroad for which the company could not make applications. Until now, customers had to celebrate them on their own.
The change introduced recently applies to applications for goods in postal shipments intended for customs clearance outside the simplified procedure used so far, including for goods returning from third countries (countries not belonging to the European Economic Area associating the European Union, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein).
Currently, Customers of Poczta Polska receive notifications informing about the arrival of a parcel, which has lost their EU customs status together with the provided information about the possibility of checking such a parcel by the operator.
Through Poczta Polska, you can send shipments to the most distant corners of the world. Depending on the destination to which the parcel is to reach, customers can send it by choosing one of the pallets of services: EMS, postal package, ordinary, registered, with a declared value or global expres. The subject of further work carried out by Poczta Polska is to offer a service enabling comprehensive customs service also for this type of shipment sent outside the European Union.
