Poczta Polska provides customers with twice an increased cash withdrawal limit under the Cash-Back service

In post offices, customers can already make convenient cash-back cash withdrawals up to PLN 1,000.

Cash-Back is a banking service as part of card payment, thanks to which the customer can withdraw cash at a post office when making purchases. Terminals equipped with an application with this cash withdrawal function as part of card payments complement the traditional network of ATMs, and payment card holders allow for convenient and safe payment of cash at a nearby postal facility.

Using the service is very simple. All you need to do is inform the cashier serving the POS terminal as part of making card payments that we want to download cash and indicate the amount.

From September 2022, payments in the amount of up to PLN 1,000 have been in force. Earlier, as part of "Pay by card and pay" you could only collect PLN 500, and in Visa cards - PLN 300. Poczta Polska offers a maximum amount to pay.

The results of research on the Poland Cashless Foundation argue that as much as 68 percent Poles heard about cash-Back, and every third respondent had the opportunity to use it. The statistics of the Central Bank show that we use Cash-Back more and more willingly. In the second quarter of 2022, 5.8 million store payments were carried out, which means an increase of 11.6 percent compared to the first quarter of 2022. In the second quarter of 2022, the value of store payments was PLN 819.6 million, i.e. more by PLN 71.9 million compared to the preceding quarter, which is an increase of 9.6 percent.
