Poczta Polska introduces an electronic announcement of delivery of registered shipments
Customers of Poczta Polska can use a new service regarding registered shipments (e.g. registered letters), i.e. those to which a number enabling monitoring has been assigned. The recipient's phone number or e -mail address, Poczta Polska will send information on the date of delivery of the parcel free of charge. In the same way, the customer will also receive information that the parcel has not been delivered and can be picked up in person at a post office.
Electronic notifications about the status of the parcel (information about the date of delivery to the indicated address, to the collection point, postal facility or parcel machine) has so far received persons only using the courier services of Poczta Polska - Pocztex. Now electronic notifications may also reach the addressees of other registered shipments, including registered mailing. Without any additional fees to the phone number or email address of the addressee, provided by the broadcaster, information about the planned delivery of the parcel is sent. The message goes to the addressees in the morning, before the employees of Poczta Polska begin their delivery.
In the event of failure to send a parcel, caused by, among others He will also receive an electronic message. This time there will be information about the date (from-do) and the place (location of the post office), where you can collect an underestimated parcel. Until now, such information has been on the advice of advice, thrown into postal boxes. Due to legal regulations, the electronics will not completely eliminate the paper advice at the moment, but to collect the unpaid shipment, it is not required to show it. When receiving a parcel in the facility, it is enough to provide the employee of the facility, the parcel number indicated in the SMS or in the email.
Shipments with declared value and registered shipments served on the basis of the provisions of laws other than the Postal Law regarding the manner, principles and delivery procedure are excluded from the electronic notifications services (civil, criminal, administrative, tax, tax and administrative shipments, violation of public finance discipline).
To use the services of electronic notifications for registered shipments, the sender must provide the phone number or email of the addressee. This can do this by using a paper posting document, available in postal facilities or in an electronic broadcast book (electronic sender, EN).
For pro -ecological reasons, in postal facilities, for the reserves, there will be prints in which there is no special place to enter the phone number or the addressee e -mail. Such information can be added to it in the "Address" field.
