Poczta Polska introduced the broadcast "European Academic Games in Łódź"

On July 15, 2022, a stamp debuted commemorating the largest academic sport event on the Old Continent, which will take place in Poland for the first time. On this day there was a ceremonial introduction of the stamp with the participation of a representative of Poczta Polska.

Poczta Polska commemorates sports events important for Poland, which will start on July 17. For two weeks, about 6,000 athletes will take part in 20 disciplines played in 15 facilities.

The ceremonial introduction and unveiling of the stamp took place during a press conference starting the European Academic Games. Poczta Polska was represented by Lucyna Prygiel-Augustyniak, director of the network region in Łódź.

Tomasz Wochna, author of the project from the EUG 2022 Organizing Committee on the graphic of the stamp presented the official mascot of the European Academic Games in Łódź - Unicorn Eugenia. His name is a reference to the English name of the Games - European Universcities Games. In the upper right part of the stamp there is an inscription: European Academic Games in Łódź, along the left edge inscription: Mascot of the Eugenio Games, along the right edge is the inscription: Poland, in the upper left corner the value: PLN 8. 

In the graphics of the FDC envelopes, young athletes were presented in action: tennis player, a long time, judo and basketball player in a black and white convention. The datent graphics included the official logotype of the European Academic Games in Łódź. They are a high -ranking event and are organized every two years in different cities. This is a great opportunity to promote our country on the international arena.
