Poles focus on digitization. Increased interest in the services of Poczta Polska: Escrzynka and electronic receipt confirmation (EPO)

An increase in interest is also recorded by electronic confirmation of receipt, under which the sender receives information about the delivery or return of the parcel almost in real time.
According to the chosen strategy and due to the growing interest in digital solutions, Poczta Polska is working on the systematic expansion of the portfolio of services available online. In the field of electronic correspondence service, the company offers modern services available to both individual and business clients.
- Digitization is a strategic development direction for Poczta Polska. We are pleased that already available facilities are gaining more and more interest. We have been undergoing business transformation in connection with the progress of ICT technology and consumers preferences for several years. We are looking for new solutions, we will introduce more customer -friendly technologies. In turn, as a designated digital operator, from October we will start digital service of correspondence of offices and citizens - says Krzysztof Falkowski, vice president of the management board of Poczta Polska.
One of the digital mail solutions is an escrzynka, which was introduced in connection with the recommendations in the field of Covid-19-providing the addressees with the possibility of safe and quick reception of registered correspondence without leaving home or office.
It is worth recalling that as part of the service, registered parcels are digitized (scanned) and provided to the addressees in an online mailbox, maintaining all safety standards and confidentiality of e-mails. Escrzynka can be founded online, free of charge, using a trusted profile, it already has about 23,000. users. Pursuant to the applicable regulations, regulated shipments are supported as part of the solution, excluding shipments sent by: courts and tribunals, prosecutor's office and court bailiffs, and excluding shipments sent by law enforcement authorities - if they were marked by the sender "is not digitized".
Electronic receipt confirmation (EPO) replaces the reckoning confirmation in paper form. The service is implemented for both institutional and commercial clients. Particularly noteworthy is the EPO benefit for judicial units, being an alternative to the traditional form of receiving the fact of receiving a registered letter. Poczta Polska provides a service using tablets using the dedicated application "Mobile Postman". As part of this project, postmen throughout the country received mobile devices connected to the Internet, thanks to which the EPO is made available in real time.
The use of electronic confirmation of receipt is possible:
- through the integration of the Stock ICT system with the transmitting system of Poczta Polska (EN)
or
- Without system integration by collecting information about EPO for a given parcel via EN.
In the first quarter of 2021, the number of EPO users increased by 11 % compared to the same period of 2020. Electronic form of acceptance can be used by customers on the basis of a written contract.
