We have prepared the philatelic emission "Grupa Ładosia"
Poczta Polska introduced into circulation a post stamp related to the celebration of the Ladosia Group announced by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. In the years 1941-1943, the informal network saved Jews from the ghettos in occupied Poland.
Aleksander Ładoś was a Polish diplomat in Bern, who during World War II headed the net of Polish diplomats and Jewish activists. In the conspiracy at risk of their own lives, they gave Jews in Poland false Latin American passports. According to historians, they covered up to 10,000 people of Jewish nationality - Polish citizens, the Netherlands, Germany and several other countries of occupied Europe. Today it is difficult to determine the number of survivors as a result of these activities before the destruction. The Sejm of the Republic of Poland announced 2021 by the Ladosia Group.
- During World War II, a group of Polish diplomats and Jewish activists started with the help of saving Jews. Members of the so -called Grupa Ładosia issued passports to South American countries, saving Jews - Polish citizens and other countries. Diplomats were aware that they could pay their lives for what they do at any time. The postponement stamp "Grupa Ładosia" is a tribute that our company is given to heroic diplomats - said Wiesław Włodek, vice president of the board of Poczta Polska.
On Agnieszka Sancewicz's project stamp there is an artistically colored portrait photo of the group leader - Aleksandra Ładosia. In the upper right corner, Polish national colors were posted, and the name of the issue was found along the right edge. The name of the other members of the strict leadership of this informal group was placed on the stamp.
The FDC envelope has archival photos (PAP) and there are passport stamps obtained thanks to the kindness of the Auschwitz State Museum -Birkenau in Oświęcim. The dates used the authentic seal of the Consulate of the Republic of Paraguay from the preserved passport of one of the survivors (passport scans from the so -called Eissa archive).
