Birds of Polish parks again on the stamps of Poczta Polska
On February 28, in the Municipal Zoological Garden in Warsaw, the premiere of four post stamps "Birds of Polish Parks" took place. The new publishers present species of birds that can be seen in Polish landscape, national or urban parks.
The colorful images of Szpak, Gorritic, Rudzik and Trznadla were on this year's postage stamp designs. Pictures of heroes of nature emissions were taken by Maciej Zdziarski - a journalist, photographer and enthusiast of birds. The birds were captured by a lens in Polish city parks.
A solemn presentation of stamps took place in the Warsaw Zoological Garden. The values were unveiled by dr Andrzej G. Kruszewicz, director of the Warsaw zoo, Wiesław Włodek, vice president of Poczta Polska and Maciej Zdziarski - author of photos on stamps.
Characteristic voices of birds of this year's emission
In their songs, starlings contain not only the melodies of other birds, but also can imitate the sounds, e.g. cell phone bells, the whistle of the kettle, barking dogs, and even human conversations.
Rudzik's voice is a pearl and compared to the sound of pearls scattered on the glass. The melody of male representatives is hardly audible. Young individuals are considered the most famous.
Singing of the crash consists of several short, quickly successful sounds and one long. His voice was inspired by Ludwig Van Beethoven to write the famous fifth symphony.
The sound of the thickness is ticking, which can resemble the voice of Rudzik and the crack. It sometimes diversifies his singing with whistles and ends it with more melodious tons.
Poczta Polska promotes the Polish fauna
In 2022, Poczta Polska introduced the first emission stamps "Birds of Polish Parks", depicting Kowalik, Wróbel, Rich and Modraszka . In the same year, the company also issued stamps in a joint broadcast with Argentina's mail. They presented birds appearing only in two regions - a Polish tip in Europe and an Argentine rust potter in South America.
The first two editions of the "Polish birds" emissions covered stamps in the form of blocks, depicting an ordinary kingfisher in 2014, and in 2019 a white stork, black, white and gray heron. In 2015 and 2017, stamps with eight species of native owls came into circulation, including Eagle, flame, bodies or tissues. In 2019, the "Europe" emission stamp appeared in circulation, presenting the ordinary son -in -law. In the same year, stamps also appeared that were created in cooperation with the Singapore post. The stamps show birds found in both countries: Białobrzucha, a traveling ghost.
The substantive consultant of the "Birds of Polish Parks" is Dr. Andrzej Kruszewicz.
