As a result, the risk of damage to very expensive equipment increases. One of the solutions that allows you to financially secure in the event of such situations is Agrocasco insurance available as part of the Agro insurance offer offered by the Postal Mutual Insurance Company.

Agrocasco is an additional protection that will protect the farmer against expenses related to damage to agricultural machinery. This insurance can be compared to AC insurance for passenger cars, which provides protection in the event of damage to the vehicle as a result of random events. Agrocasco can be purchased for both agricultural tractors, trailers as well as vehicles and machines that do not require registration, which can move on public roads (combine, seeder, press, cultivation -sown aggregate and other).

Scope of protection

The basic scope of insurance protects against damages resulting from events independent of the will of the insured or the person performing work for the insured. This range can be additionally extended to stolen agricultural machinery and damages resulting from the transport of agricultural produce.

Insurance advantages:

  • Possibility to include insurance for the period of field work (3 months) or for a full 12 months;
  • Insurance of machines up to 25 years old;
  • the possibility of insurance of all agricultural machinery within one policy;
  • A discount for machines that age is not over 5 years;
  • An additional discount for having an active policy safe farmer.

We offer all farmers who buy Agrocasco insurance, we offer the possibility of obtaining additional discounts on property insurance that is part of a farm, farmers' liability and OC and AC traffic insurance dedicated to farmers.

Only until the end of June 2020, Agrocasco owners can obtain a special discount of up to 20% for traffic insurance for farmers (a secure farmer's vehicle).
