Jan Kanthak, secretary of state at the Ministry of State Asset and Krzysztof Falkowski, president of Poczta Polska, took part in the solemn presentation of the values in Szczebrzeszyn.

- The synagogue in Szczebrzeszyn is an amazing place. The building is not only a witness to history, but also a reflection of the spiritual bond with the past. It is a symbol of our heritage and a symbol of the coexistence of various cultures in Poland. It is a great honor for me to be able to share this unique stamp with the residents of Szczebrzeszyn, who contributed to the protection and maintenance of the synagogue. The involvement of the local community in this project is proof of how important it is to take care of our heritage for future generations - says Jan Kanthak, Secretary of State at the Ministry of State Asset.

In the graphics of the remaining five emission stamps "The Beauty of Poland" was presented at the Collegiate Basilica of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Chełm, the panorama of the Market Square in Zamość, the church of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hrubieszów, Polish horses from Roztocze and the church of St. Spirit in the Code. Together with a series of six stamps, three FDC envelopes were released with the views of the landscapes of the Roztocze National Park.

- Through our emission stamps, we promote the unusual corners of the country and show the uniqueness of the places presented on them. Undoubtedly, Szczebrzeszyn includes such. An important element of the Mission of Poczta Polska is the promotion of native culture. Postal stamps are a unique tool for achieving this goal. I am convinced that our emission "Poland's beauty" will inspire to discover the heritage of our country - emphasizes Krzysztof Falkowski, president of Poczta Polska.

The synagogue in Szczebrzeszyn is one of the oldest buildings of this type in Poland. This valuable monument is also an active place for the cult of Judaism. Currently, the synagogue in Szczebrzeszyn is the seat of the Municipal and Communal Cultural Center in Szczebrzeszyn.
