Changes in the regulations of courier and parcel services
Please be advised that from February 1, 2019, the regulations of the following services of Poczta Polska are changing: Pocztex, Paczka+ and Paczka24 and Paczka48.
The newly applicable regulations have been clarified in the scope of identification and definition of a custom parcel, content prohibited in postal trade and the operator's liability for non -performance and improper performance of the service.
In addition, in the case of courier services (Pocztex) from the beginning of February this year. In the case of shipments sent using a single -layer address sticker generated from the Poczta Polska application, the sender will be obliged to generate in two copies a printout of the electronic broadcast book or a list of the number of Pocztex shipments. One signed copy of the document will be forwarded to the courier along with the parcels broadcast, while the other will remain at the sender.
The regulations also include provisions regarding the standardization of the offer of shipments broadcast with the option "Receipt at the point", which will apply from April 1, 2019. From that time, customers sending shipments with the "Receipt at the point" option will be able to send shipments of a mass not exceeding 20 kg with the following parameters:
- Maximum dimensions of shipments sent with the option "Receipt at the point", where the reception point is a post office or a partner point - 70 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm; For cylindrical shipments sent as non -standard 20 cm (diameter) x 70 cm (length).
- Maximum dimensions of shipments sent with the option "pickup at the point", where the collection point is a post machine - 60 cm x 47 cm x 37 cm; For cylindrical shipments sent as non -standard 20 cm (diameter) x 60 cm (length).
