Changes in the regulations for the provision of universal services

Logo_Poziom_302x159From May 27, 2020, "Regulations for the provision of universal services" are changing. The changes introduced in the document consist in its unification with applicable law. Ultimately, customers will be able to settle matters even faster at the post office.

Changes in the "Regulations for the provision of universal services" in force from May 27 this year. concern the unification of the content of the Regulations with applicable law, in particular the Regulation on the performance of universal services by the designated operator. In the event that the recipient will not be able to win the receipt of the registered shipment, the serviceer will be able to determine the date of delivery, indicate the person who received the parcel and the reason for the recipient's lack of signature.

Poczta Polska also introduces a modification of the method of confirming the payment of the fee for registered parcels in domestic and foreign trading. From February 1, 2021, instead of a postage stamp, a new post fee sign will be glued in the form of a sticker with the letter R.

Simplifying the process of sending registered mail will contribute to shortening the time of customer service in a post office.

From February 1, 2021, postage stamps will be able to be used to confirm the payment of only letter shipments not registered in domestic and foreign trading.
