Stamps on registered lists only until the end of April
Only until the end of April 2021 shipping of registered letters will be possible with a fee in the form of traditional postage stamps. From May 1 this year. On registered lists in domestic and foreign trading, in a place previously reserved for the postage stamp, a new "R" sticker will be placed, on which the amount of fee for the letter will be included. This solution was prepared to simplify the principles of sending registered correspondence, standardize the form of the fee for all registered shipments, as well as accelerating the customer service process in post offices. Traditional postage stamps will remain in circulation as a form of fee only for sending unregistered letters, i.e. "Ordinary". In addition, Poczta Polska, as a national propagator of philatelic, will continue to issue collector's values on hobbyists.
From May 1 this year. Customers will be able to use a new solution in the field of sending registered letters in domestic and foreign trading. Poczta Polska resigns from postage stamps as a form of fee for the abovementioned correspondence. Traditional postage stamps will replace new "R" stickers. The new solution was prepared to improve the rules for sending registered correspondence, standardize the form of the fee for all records of registered and accelerating the customer service process at post offices.
Currently, registered lists constitute up to 1/3 of the volume of parcels of the entire letter correspondence served by postcards. It is worth noting that for contractual customers, Poczta Polska has long provided the option of sending correspondence without a stamp, which has undoubted impact on improving the logistics process related to the preparation and shipping of such correspondence. Registered lists are shipments recorded at the stage of posting and delivery. This means that the customer receives confirmation of sending such a parcel and can track in the monitoring system when it has been delivered.
Customers have at their disposal two formulas for shipping registered correspondence:
- priority - with the expected date of the service on the next business day after the date of posting, provided that the letter is awarded by 15:00,
- economic - with the expected date of the service within 3 business days, after the date of broadcast.
In addition, customers can use the option of confirmation of receipt in paper form or for courts and other contractual customers - electronic.
