Poczta Polska develops sharing non -cash payments in the network of branches. Currently, the company has 12,000 POS terminals. An increase in their number will be possible under a new agreement with the consortium of Bank Pocztowy SA, PKO Bank Polski and ESERVICE Sp. ZOO in the field of non -cash payment services. Mail customers are increasingly paying by card or BLIK.
The new Poczta Polska SA agreement with a consortium, covering the next 3 years, will allow you to increase not only the number of POS Terminals from 12 to 15,000, but also will allow other modern payment solutions to be launched.
Mail customers are making more and more payments in the form of non -cash both in post offices and couriers. Within 8 months 2021, the number of card transactions increased by 14 percent. compared to the same period of 2020. On the other hand, the number of Blik transactions increased by as much as 115 percent. At the same time, the number of card payments with couriers by 19%also increased. The contract concluded by the post also allows you to implement new payment solutions. In September this year MCC multi has already appeared, which allows you to conveniently pay by card or BLIK for purchasing products of Totalizator Sportowy, and in the future payments will also be possible to pay a separate MCC code.
The Polish Post Office currently has 8.5 thousand POS terminals in 4.6 thousand own facilities and 3.5 thousand Mobile POS terminals, which are used by couriers. This is the most numerous POS Terminal network that Eservice supports at one entity. This gives the Polish Post Office the position of the largest customer served by the leader of the Polish payment services market.
Eservice is the largest Polish settlement agent and a member of the consortium created by PKO Bank Polski and Bank Pocztowy. For over five years, its institutions have been responsible for providing and servicing payment solutions used by the Polish postal operator. Poczta Polska has been cooperating with the consortium since 2019
