Postal regulations precisely regulate the issue of parcels with animals. Only bees, domestic and decorative birds are allowed for postal trading. However, these parcels must be properly marked and secured so that the animals travel safely and are not exposed to stress and suffering, and transport conditions did not threaten their lives and health.

The implementation of shipments with the content of live birds and insects in accordance with the regulations of the services of Poczta Polska takes place only in the postal package or the Pocztex courier shipment.

The sender is obliged to provide the packaging adapted to the sent content and meets the requirements specified in the provisions on the protection of animals, as well as to mark the parcel with a sticker or a clear inscription, in red: "live animal" and "carefully" and inscriptions indicating the top and bottom of the parcel. The packaging should be durable and constructed in such a way as to prevent you from getting outside and must contain access to fresh air.

It should be remembered that shipments with birds and insects cannot be broadcast with an option to pick up at a point or machine and addressed to a poststante post and postcard.
